At one point I was trying to find a solar battery cart but could not. I emailed the GreenBrideGuide because I saw one on one of their featured weddings. I never was able to secure the cart but they did email us afterwards and ask to feature our we...
The venue that we are holding both the wedding and reception at is on a state park and the building is built entirely from reclaimed wood and limestone - and the cost of renting the venue goes to the upkeep of the park and educational programs.
I cant believe I forgot our Keutbah (jewish wedding contract). It is awesome! You can also order them in non Jewish wording. We got ours from MP ArtWork. They have the best customer service ever!

We did it and it was awesome. We spent about two weeks in Italy afterwards. We were there during the earthquake. Apparently, relatives like to joke about the fact that you are having sex as we got plenty of "shaking things up over there" nudges.

OK, late reply but I think I am an EXPERT on this.
We are both nerds and wanted nerdy touches so we did a lot of sneaky things.

Sarah and I decided to declare our Informal Deceleration of Marriage at the County Clerk's office and become, what is know in Texas, as common law married. This was out of social convenience as far as taxes and insurance goes but we still want to have a wedding and declare ourselves to each other in front of our family and friends. We are lucky enough to have family and friends in catering, wine importing, photography, design and event planning so hopefully things can go smoothly and our vision met without spending too much money.
Share a couple of offbeat details from your wedding:
I am going to be wearing custom designed Converse Chuck Taylors in our wedding colours. Our wedding will have very subtle Star Trek undertones (ie: 6 inch characters holding the guest placards at the tables). We will have scores from our favorite films: Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Star Trek Voyager, playing during key moments of the day.
We are having an interfaith ceremony combining traditions of a Jewish Wedding Ceremonies with some secular elements.
What is one idea for your wedding you've been the most afraid to suggest to your fiance?
Sarah has been pretty open to any suggestions that I have had. We are very open so there isn't really anything I am afraid to bring up though she shoots most of it down.
What one thing do you want to have at the wedding more than anything else?
I am estranged from my father so I will be walking down the aisle with my Mother and my two Jack Russell Terriers, Wyatt and Holly. I am glad they will be there. Having them there is the one time I got "to put my foot down".

"putrification of man's sin?" :D
Christ on a crutch. Yeah, Justin, why don't you get a job?
Austin looks like a place with fun, weird corners. I have to check it out at some point; cheers for your photo primers!
But I live with the spirit o' God, so I don't believe all that stuff about acceptance and compassion. See what happens when you pray for the unborn, people? You end up with a boatload of dumbasses who see their own life as a right and everyone else's as a privelige. So cut it out.
Hello fellow soon to be married men-
So I have a bit of an issue...
My family, is about as conservative as they come. They are also, EXTREMELY outspoken about it. I'm already catching immense flak from the point that we're not getting hitched in...

Michael Deneen The little soon-to-be misses is a big Off Beat Bride user. So I figured, what the heck, eh?
I have to apologize on my part for being gone for so long. It was a hectic year and I spent most of it redoing our new place pretty much from scratch. Our wedding day came and went, so I'll have to do some catching up for newcomers.
Very good poi...
