We've taken a few steps in this direction in terms of using recycled materials, but not on the level that you're going to. It's a good idea, and something I wish we'd thought through more - we have a venue and so on, and so that will restrict what...

We haven't made this decision yet, although we've talked about it a bit. The only consensus so far is that it should be something we can Swing to, because thats the dance we're most comfortable with overall. That doesn't narrow it down a whole lot...

About Me:
I grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, and so I suppose I dodged the social bombardment of what a wedding is supposed to be. I've been frustrated trying to get involved when all the resources treat grooms as people attending rather than preparing, and I wanted to have a say in more than just the best man.

Share a couple of offbeat details from your wedding:
We'll be holding it at an art and design studio instead of a regular hall, we're skipping the sit-down meal and going with lots of color instead of blacks and whites.
What is one idea for your wedding you've been the most afraid to suggest to your fiance?
That it should be arranged as a rock opera.
What one thing do you want to have at the wedding more than anything else?
Amazing hats.
What wedding tradition do you dislike most?
Throwing the garter, and the accompanying stuff. Most of the time it ends up kind of creepy.

Also the 'dollar dance', which I didn't even know about until recently.

Hello fellow soon to be married men- So I have a bit of an issue... My family, is about as conservative as they come. They are also, EXTREMELY outspoken about it. I'm already catching immense flak from the point that we're not getting hitched in...
