Black isn't really a beach color. Perhaps you should offer other colors.
However, if the wedding is on a beach, you could have your groomsmen dress up in light weight suits, or shirts and ties without the jacket, without shoes or socks, with the bottoms of the pants rolled up a bit. If you do go jacket less, go for unpressed shirts, and wear the arms rolled up.

Is the wedding casual or formal?
If it is a casual affair, I suggest tailored black shorts, white button down shirt and an accentuating tie in one of the wedding colors. If the flowers are yellow or burgundy, have a boutonniere in that color and have the tie be the opposite color.
Whites and blacks are very good base colors. It's usually best to accentuate in some way with the other colors. If it's a formal affair, a black or white tux would probably be the best way to go. Use the tie, boutonniere and/or vest as highlights of the other colors.
Also, this is a good way to get gifts for the groomsmen as well. You can get custom printed ties in the colors of the wedding. Etsy is a good place to look.
I am only having a Best Man but my brother is accompanying my Mother and my future father in law will also be under the chuppah. I actually utilised toybreaker myself and got these little numbers for the men under the chuppah. It fits our eco theme and looks great. Other than that I just asked them to wear Grey or neutral colours. Our Wedding colours are grey and yellow.
It looks a bit purple in this picture but it's more of a blue. Also when it's closed it used these two straps to close it and I'm going to go with buttons. Also I will have a ivory shirt instead of a yellow one, to match my brides dress
