Wow, after countless suggestions and what seemed to be a search that would not be resolved we decided on a song to dance to. One of our underlying themes to the wedding (there are several of them) is that all the music will be cover versions of original music. So with that in mind we finally decided on the Madeleine Peyroux verison of Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love". It is a really beautiful song.
What are you guys dancing to?
We haven't made this decision yet, although we've talked about it a bit. The only consensus so far is that it should be something we can Swing to, because thats the dance we're most comfortable with overall. That doesn't narrow it down a whole lot though, because you can swing to a lot of music! It would be helpful if we had anything as clearly 'our song' as something I had sung to her, but I'm not much of a vocalist.

we did a tango. When we were in argentina together, we took classes. Perhaps that was overstudying the part, but we looked great. Nothing wrong with practicing, dong your homework. everyone will appreciate it. Take a class or two.
Hey Guys, brand new to this, though my FW has been on OBB for awhile. We're planning on doing the first dance to: "Somewhere over the rainbow" Originally done by Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole, only we're getting my brother to preform it live.
